Achilles
Prepared for Luxiras Mega Mall
Founded in 2018, Achilles grew out of a shoe-manufacturing background: the brand designs and produces its collections — the men's line made in-house in Egypt, the women's line built to its specs with partner factories — controlling quality from last to leather to finish. What began as a maker's operation is today a retail house with two full lines — women's and men's — under one name.
Achilles retails from The Yard Mall (New Cairo) and its online store, achilleseg.com — with four further doors in the pipeline: M Street Mall (Heliopolis) and Celia Mall contracted for Q1 2027, Open Air Mall contracted for Q2 2027, and CityStars pending. Expansion is mapped toward Morocco and the Gulf. The ambition runs past footwear: Achilles is growing into a lifestyle brand — it is not about the product, it is about access.

Quiet, contemporary silhouettes led by material and proportion — not logos. Classic shapes, current lines.
Clean, natural photography on a black-and-white base with one accent colour per story — a system carried across web, social and campaign.
Style-aware women and men in Egypt's cities who want everyday quality at a fair price.
Accessible premium. Because Achilles controls its own production, it delivers real-leather quality and a design-led image at prices high-street shoppers can act on — sitting between mass-market imports and luxury boutiques, with the craft of the second and the reach of the first. In the shopper's consideration set alongside international high-street footwear, with one advantage none of them carry: Achilles makes its own.
A full warm-season wardrobe, from flat slides to evening heels. Released in curated colour stories — black, white, beige, brown, maroon — with gold hardware as the line's signature.
Stills from the campaign films — the films play in the interactive edition of this profile.
Classic menswear silhouettes rebuilt on light, flexible soles. Full-grain and suede leathers in black, brown, tan, grey, olive and navy — every style photographed and stocked for immediate sell-through, including the 38-style Comfort EVA sole line.
The Yard Mall is open and trading; three further doors are contracted through 2027 and one is in negotiation — each carrying both lines with the same visual identity as the brand's campaigns and online store.
Thirteen months of trading from a single door: EGP 20.8M. Baseline months hold EGP 1.2–1.4M; peak seasons — Ramadan and Eid, Black Friday, collection launches — reach EGP 2.1–2.5M a month.

Customer and creator content, as posted — Achilles worn at dinners, weddings, courts and streets across Egypt and beyond.
Achilles trades from The Yard Mall today — EGP 20.8M in its first thirteen months — with three further doors contracted through 2027 and one in negotiation. Luxiras would join a signed, funded expansion — not an experiment.
Women's and men's collections under one roof — a complete footwear destination in a single unit.
In-house manufacturing means depth of stock and healthy economics. Summer 2026 is photographed, priced and selling now — the store opens with a proven, in-season assortment.
350K+ across Instagram and Facebook, a content engine of campaign stills, film and UGC — and a stated goal of building a community around the brand. Retail extends what is already working.
